A professional blogger and member of the Society of Environmental Journalists, Debra covers a variety of environmentally-related conferences. These include:

  • the 2009 conference on sustainable tourism called ”Planet  People Peace” in Costa Rica
  • Bioneers 2009
  • the “Green Concepts for a Regional Economy: Making Economic Development a Sustainable Practice Conference”, sponsored by the National Association of Development Organizations
  • the Bioenergy Sustainability conference at U.C. Davis, sponsored by the California Biomass Collaborative
  • the 26th annual Border Governors Conference– “Building Green Economies” – hosted in California at Universal Studios, in partnership with General Electric
  • Her latest venture is to bring green to the radio waves! Eco Trends airs every Tuesday and Thursday around 3:20 pm (Pacific). It features affordable, innovative eco-friendly consumer products.  Many of the products featured are new to the marketplace and all are tested to ensure they’re really green. It’s fun, useful and unique radio at it’s best!

    Debra also writes about new, innovative eco-related products. Her articles shed light on creative possibilities and products finding their way to the marketplace – products that live up to their promise and provide a real solution to some eco-related consumer concern. Debra’s articles are published both in print and online.
